Funders & programs
A funder is the agency that gives the money (NYS DOH, USDA, a foundation). A program is the grant it runs (HPNAP, TEFAP). Every contract belongs to one program, so this is where you start.

Fiscal calendar
Only needed for a funder whose year does not match one you already have. Adding a funder creates its calendar, so you rarely need this — use it to add a calendar on its own, or to fix the month and day a funder's year starts on.
