Spending categories

Every transaction is tagged with one of these, and the money rolls up the tree: a purchase tagged MILK counts toward MILK, toward PURCHASED_FOOD and toward OPERATIONAL_COSTS. That is how a rule like “at least 60% of spend on purchased food” gets its number.

Add a category

Add groups at the top level, then the specific buckets underneath.

How the tree is used

Reports group spend by category and roll children into parents.
A percent rule with “as a share of” set measures against that category's subtree.
A rule with no “as a share of” measures against all spend on the contract.
Deleting a category is refused while any transaction or rule still refers to it.
